Cold Stray Dog Runs Into Miami Target, Gets Adopted on the Spot by Shopper

🛒

It was an unusually cold day in Miami when a shivering stray dog darted through the automatic doors of a Target store, seeking nothing more than a break from the chill.

Shoppers stopped and stared, but one woman did more than that. She saw the dog's pleading eyes and made an instant decision.

Witnesses say the woman, identified only as Maria, knelt down and let the dog approach her. The dog, now named 'Honey,' immediately leaned into her warmth.

Maria didn't call animal control. Instead, she walked to the pet aisle, picked out a collar, a leash, and a bag of dog food. She paid for the supplies, clipped the leash onto Honey, and walked out of the store with her new family member.

'I came for candles and left with a dog,' Maria later posted on social media. 'Best Target run ever.'

Honey is now safe, warm, and loved—proving that sometimes, you find exactly what you need in the most unexpected places.
